Forgive the bad quality of the pictures; the lighting was not right and they were so far away that I couldn't catch good pictures. :(

They had a "get your dad ready for work" contest. . . they picked 4-5 girls and fathers to come up on stage and shave, put shoes on, and tie ties on their dads to get them read for work. The razors and shaving cream used to shave dads were plastic knives whipped cream. It was hilarious!

In between conferences, we had a HUGE hailstorm!!!! Some of the hail got to be about the size of a golf ball. . . .almost.
The retreat as a whole was WONDERFUL and I sincerely hope that we will be able to do it again next year.
Fathers dating their own daughters, weird.
ReplyDeleteI'm just curious, why is it weird? The Father Daughter Retreat is not a place for Fathers to "date" their daughters, but a precious time to get to know each other better and have good quality, one-on-one time.
