Dear Friends,

Thank you for being so patient with me as I haven't blogged for a long time. My mom had to have some surgery a few weeks ago (Please continue to pray!), and we have been downsizing on Mountain View farm, and have already sold our goats  :(
It's very hard to see them go because I am kind of an animal freak, but I know that in all things God is very sovereign, and even when it comes to giving up your treasured pets, I know that it is for my own good as well as their own.
Daddy says that when I can afford it, I can get a pony and another goat though. He is so kind! Here are some of my favorite pictures in memory of them:

Birthday Retreat

For my Birthday, (Feb 23) Mom took Caelen and I out to a nice little hotel in the Biltmore Village. We had such a good time!  Olive Garden, Shopping in the village and more.  <3

***(By the way, please be in prayer for my mom. She is recovering from surgery.)***

A birthday breakfast of hotel powdered eggs and yogurt. . .special! special!

Our beautiful room!!!

Goats:

Tuesday we gave our goats away. I know they got a very good home, but I miss them a whole lot! They were our babies. We helped birth them and raise them until they were full grown. Now we will probably get some more silkie chickens to replace them.

Concert with Lori Sealy

Our pastor's wife, Mrs. Sealy, is a Christian singer/song writer. She has invited Mom to sing harmony with her lately, and Mom is enjoying it very much.
Last night was their first concert of the year. It was done at our little coffee shop in town. They did an excellent job! Here is just a sample of what it was like:
(If you want to find out more about Lori Sealy, visit her website at,( http://www.lorisealy.com/)
And if you want to hear more of her songs,( http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=lori+sealy&search_type=&aq=f )

Elizabeth Sealy got a chance to sing with her Mom. She did such a fine job! I was very proud of her.

First snow of the new year

Here are some fun pictures of our second big snow this winter. This is probably the biggest winter that I have ever had! They are calling for more snow tomorrow! Oh dear! I'm afraid I will get sick of it soon :D

My family has made it a tradition to walk to our grandparent's house when it snows. It is about a two mile hike. AWESOME!!!

When we arrive at Grammy and Pa's house, hot chocolate is always waiting :) :D

Umm! Umm! Good!!!!!

Home sweet home is always waiting when we get back

Happy Birthday Ben!!!!

February 4th was a very important day for us! Our family adopted Andrei Benjamin from Russia almost 5 years ago, and now he is growing up so fast! He turned 8 just a few days ago. What a big boy he is getting to be. He is a huge blessing to me and my family! Happy Birthday Ben! I love you!

Your loving big sister,

Hannah
