I don't know if it is just my family that likes to experiment with our chickens, but we put my silkie, Herbi, through pure "torture," and humiliation, by walking him on a dog leash. Thankfully, he is a VERY patient chicken, and did quite well considering that he is not a dog. But I think he was humiliated, because he tried to hide from the other chickens for a while afterwards. :)
I attached the leash in a loop around his body.
